I do not know what's going on in the US Navy. I do not know if they're drunk, drugged or what. Something is happening and serious. At this rate, of two destroyers a month, the Chinese, the Russians or the North Koreans would win a war without firing a single missile. The US Navy is already in charge of sinking itself. If the free world relies on the only country that can defend democracy and freedom in the world, the United States of America, let us pray. The image of the United States of America in the world is on the ground. Can anyone trust this country right now to defend ourselves against the Chinese, the Russians or the North Koreans? I doubt it.

What a shame. So advance ship and cannot detect and avoid a collision in open sea by civilian ship. This showcases the technology and experience inside it.

The us navy need to look at their training. Their sailors are not capable to control these expensive war ships.

OK Now drag the captain off the ship into the middle of a busy street. Wait till the press turn up then pull your pistol and blow the back of his fucking head out. Then text "any captain that allows this to happen again will get the same". Problem solved.

So basically what's happening is these have advanced radars but the ships hitting them don't? And they can't just open fire on a civilian ship? Or is this a case of someone being asleep at the wheel?

McHales Navy again: a total menace on the high seas, perhaps all merchant ships should now have large flashing lights, and a horn sounding ever few seconds, when around any Yankee ships: It may help with these incompetent idiots, – Remembering the incompetence comes from the top down.

Looks like the low bidder got the contract to build the hull – or a really, really high bidder who promised a lot of kickbacks.
The US navy is floating around on flimsy trash inaccurately referred to as "war" ships.
In the case of the USS Songbird, it's totally appropriate.

What is going on with our Navy, when I was in we used radar and lookouts when maneuvering in harbor areas, with the collisions within the past few months something is missing, what a shame, and the commanding officers and those below him suffer carrere damage.
