Putin says “North Korea Has Zero Nukes, But Millions in Rare Minerals” | North Korea tentions

Vladimir Putin has cautioned that the North Korean atomic emergency is being coordinated as a false banner by the New World Order with the objective of beginning a noteworthy worldwide clash that will raise rapidly into World War 3.
Russian President Vladimir Putin argued sanctions will be ineffective and won’t encourage North Korea to give up its growing weapons arsenal.

Putin has also cautioned against taking military action, warning it won’t end well.

While the President made a fair point, some have questioned Russia’s motives and role in the current crisis.

One senior administration official told the Washington Post ’s Josh Rogin that Russia was “definitely up to something.”

Russia’s influence in North Korea isn’t exactly new as the country has always supported the secretive state in some capacity.

North Korea and Russia share similar ideologies and historic economic ties along with a 17km border.

The Soviet Union was a major economic backer of North Korea before its collapse, but Russia accounts for only 1 per cent of foreign trade today.

In 2014, Moscow wrote off 90 per cent of Pyongyang’s $11 billion debt from the Soviet-era.

A rare glimpse at America’s super nukes: ‘hell and fury’ that can reach North Korea in 30 minutes

A rare glimpse at America’s super nukes: ‘hell and fury’ that can reach North Korea in 30 minutes
For more stories:

BURIED deep beneath the Montana soil in America’s northwest are 150 giant Minuteman III nuclear missiles — locked, loaded and ready to go.
They are 20 times more powerful than the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima and can reach any target on the planet in half an hour.
They stand ready to be deployed at any moment of the day, on the order of US President Donald Trump, who this month promised North Korea a “fire and fury like the world has never seen”.
“I think this is a very dangerous time — perhaps the most dangerous threat that we’ve faced since the Cuban missile crisis,” former US Secretary of Defence Leon Panetta said.
Tensions between America and North Korea have been simmering for months, reaching a frightening war of words in recent weeks.

The two countries have exchanged threats and counter threats over recent weeks, with the world watching nervously.
And should they boil over, it’s from this location that Trump’s “fire and fury” will be unleashed.
Channel Nine’s 60 Minutes program received a rare look at the nuclear facility in Montana, which is just part of the mega arsenal that serves as a deterrent.
There are countless just like it, with some 450 “super nukes” in stockpile.

t’s a never-ending operation to be ready, with constant training on how to maintain and handle the weapons.
Master sergeant Jennifer Hubner said should the call from the White House come, she and her colleagues were ready.
“None of us come to work hoping today’s the day. But we hope our enemies think twice before they decide to use weapons of mass destruction against us or our allies.”
That includes Australia, with Hubner declaring: “We’ve got your back”.
Reporter Liz Hayes was granted unprecedented access to a control room 20 metres underground, where the launch of the world’s most devastating weapons would occur.

China’s Navy Holds Rare Live Fire Drill In Indian Ocean

China’s Navy Holds Rare Live Fire Drill In Indian Ocean.

China’s navy has held a rare live-fire drill in the Indian Ocean to improve its fleet’s performance under real combat circumstance, state media reported today.

A Chinese naval formation consisting of the destroyer Changchun, guided-m!ssile frigate Jingzhou and supply vessel Chaohu conducted the drill in the waters of the western Indian Ocean, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

The fleet carried out strikes against “enemy” surface ships and completed transverse replenishment of fuel and drinking water during an exercise that lasted for several days, the report said without disclosing the exact location.

The drill is aimed at improving the ships’ performance under real combat circumstances, said Chen Denan, chief of staff of the Chinese fleet.

The fleet is on a half-year friendship visit to Asia, Europe, Africa and Oceania and has conducted joint exercises with foreign navies from 10 countries since it started its voyage on April 23, the report said.

Since the standoff with India at Doklam in the Sikkim section, China has been flexing its military muscle by holding several publicised live-fire exercises in Tibet.

This is the first-time in recent years, the Chinese navy has conducted the naval exercise in the Indian Ocean. The exercise followed the recent Malabar Naval exercises held in the Indian Ocean by the navies of India, the US and Japan.

China, which has been ramping up its naval power to enhance its global reach, recently operationalised its first overseas logistics naval base at Djibouti at the Horn of Africa in the Indian Ocean and signed a 99 year lease to acquire the Hambantota port in Sri Lanka.

China has also acquired the strategic Gwadar port in Pakistan which is being linked to China’s Xinjiang province through the USD 50 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor traversing through Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Rare video: New island emerges off Japan coast after volcano eruption

The Japanese coast guard and earthquake experts say a volcanic eruption has raised a new island in the seas to the far south of Tokyo.

Pictures filmed by the Japanese coast guard showed clouds of heavy smoke, billowing steam and waters roiling over the newly-formed crater.

Advisories from the coast guard and the Japan Meteorological Agency said the islet is about 200 metres (660 feet) in diameter.

It is just off the coast of Nishinoshima, a small, uninhabited island in the Ogasawara chain, which is also known as the Bonin islands.
