The Philippine Navy received two Japanese patrol aircraft on Monday that will help the country bolster its maritime patrol and surveillance capabilities. The Japanese and Philippine defense ministers Kenji Wakamiya and Delfin Lorenzana attended a transfer ceremony in Cavite. In total the Philippine Navy will get five Japanese training aircraft for 28,200 US dollars per annum. The remaining three TC-90 jets are set to be delivered by March next year.
