I don't regret my vote for Gary Johnson in the 2012 election, but Romney would have been a good President on the domestic front and international trade. But when it comes to foreign policy, nothing will change… no matter who is in office

People should listen to what Romney has to say about operation Fast and Furious. One of the many illegal policies carried out by Obama.

Automatic weapons are not illegal.  Romney is a dick.  The police have automatic weapons in our society and the 2nd amendment is supposed to allow everyone to own the same weapons that the government does.  Only automatic weapons manufactured after 1986 are not legal for civilian ownership.  That is an infringement to the RKBA.

I still wonder if something shady wasn't going on during this election to push Obama over the top.  I know the DNC spent into the billions of dollars to get him re-elected and they nearly went broke, so much so they are almost guaranteed to get rolled by the GOP this year, and Obama has been out fundraising constantly.

'A well regulated militia, (utterly useless in the 21st century) being necessary for the security of a free state (America already no longer being a free state given the government spies on its citizens); the right of the people to keep and bear arms (being useless in preventing dictatorship in this age anyway) shall not be infringed. (Because it's probably the most important amendment. Who gives a fuck about the right to free speech, privacy or life anyway?) Republicans are idiots who don't even understand the prevalence of enlightenment philosophy in the founding of their own country.

No, I'm saying that Utah doesn't have 50 thousand people trying to kill eachother. Chicago has been the capital of organised crime since 1930's. Utah is like a paradise next to Chicago.

Chicago is full of gangs and Utah isn't. There are over around 125 gangs in Chicago and the gang membership is around 50-60 thousand, that's the difference.

Seeing as how Romney is Mexican, I doubt you are right.
Given the fact that millions were spent to lie about what kind of person Romney is and he did NOTHING to fight the lies, I do not blame you for thinking that "Romney thinks of drug users/ drug lords as all Mexicans". If I did not know Romney as well as I do I would agree with you.

Last year there were 20 murders involving a gun in Utah and over 500 in the City of Chicago. The interesting thing about this is that Utah has more people than Chicago and ten times the number of guns. Not to mention Utah is one of the most pro gun states and Chicago has the strictest gun control.

Chicago is run by Democrats and Utah is run by Republicans (maybe that has something to do with it)

Okay. Human nature suggests that people are rebels, right? Adam and Eve, God said don't eat the fruit, and they ate the fruit. Julius Caeser, "beware the Ides of March," and he went to the meeting anyway. Even the Hunger Games. Katniss, don't go to the Cornucopia, and she goes to the Cornucopia. See people? It seems that humans have a knack to doing things they aren't supposed to do. If ALL guns are made illegal, yeah, the shooting rate will go down, but the shootings that DO occur will bad.

can people that keep spinning the rhetoric that gun laws don't prevent gun crime….please for once in your life look outside your borders to the countries that have strict gun laws and look at their gun crime stats, they're non-existant compared to america. your have massive gun crime because they're are loads of gun in america. this is why the rest of the world call you stupid (and on the whole you are!) because you fail to see this simple fact.

Giving that the US government is always itching to be responsible for the deaths of people over their own incompetence (NDAA, PATRIOT act, Fast and Furious scandal, etc), I'd say that the citizens deserve the second amendment.

I'd really love to have another example, specially because it might sound insensitive due to your nationality, but some fascists in the 30's blamed Communist terrorists to gain the support of the public.

I bet the underlying issue in a lot of cases of school shootings is bullying, which probably emotionally destroys some victims and causes them to go on rampages with their parent's guns. Gun control won't fix the underlying issue… that can only happen with social changes.

Its truly sad to see that neither candidate will fully support all parts of the constitution. The founding fathers knew that firearms would be an essential key to our freedom. "Shall not be infringed" is a very clear set statement that has been grossly ignored. Every law abiding citizen should have the freedom to decide for himself or herself whether or not they would like to exercise their right to bear arms of all types, makes, models, and functions.

an assault weapon is one with the capabilty of full auto. those ak47's and ar15's you see ppl on youtube with are modern sporting rifiles. all the gov't wants to do is disarm the citizens so that way the citizens can never fight off our tyrannical gov't. it will first start off with "assault weapons". then they will go for all semi auto's, then all big cartridge rifles. then we will be left with nothing but bolt action .22's. Gun rights are essential to freedom, only a retard would disagree

No need to be condescending. Believe me, I am well versed on the Constitution, I don't feel I need to elaborate on my credentials. If I do, I will come across as pretentious, and sound like you.

    Nonetheless…

I was making a broad point about social contract theory and the nature of government. It's amusing how libertarians and self-professed champions of the Constitution pick which parts of it fit their argument.
