I think it was a very good gesture of Navy to name one of their ships in honor of a Marine

May God bless and keep all who sail on her and serve our nation like this fine young man did. Awesome legacy for his family. They raised a fine man and welcome fellow citizen. Any family with a son like this can hold their heads very high and proud indeed.

Compare and contrast this with World War 2 when senior English bureaucrats (with a sick sense of humor) named their country's new warships as PETUNIA, PANSY, MARIGOLD, CHRYSANTHEMUM, etc = the FLOWER CLASS! Sailors who go on shore leave are known as the Peraltas if the ship is named Rafael Peralta. Imagine the poor English sailors entering a pub and being called Pansies, Petunias etc!

This country was created by god-fearing white men for their own descendants and that has never been properly legally changed. When The Legal Revolution happens and we kick out all the scum – I will argue that Brown People have proven themselves every bit as good as anybody. Red, Brown, White, Yellow – we can live in peace in North America.
Jews, Arabs, Africans – all muslims and atheists – got to go.

They need to make road maps for these Illegal? Immigrants? that join the Military to make sure they are following the law. I commend this guy however there are gang members in the military. Those who deserve to have American citizenship should have a path created for them. Some immigrants unfortunately get sent back to Mexico and wherever.

You should be very nervous. The United States Navy is at war with its own ships. Look at how they completely destroyed the USS Fitzgerald.

See? Mexicans can immigrate here. And they can actually do it legally. They just don't want to. Apparently they don't truly want to be an American like this brave solider. Semper Fi Rafael Peralta ??

It's great to see our military growing. With the new aircraft carrier, destroyer, and the successful tests on our upgraded missile defense system coming so fast, it looks like 2017 will be a promising year for our National Guard
