Walsh (future Medal of Honor recipient) climbs down from his Corsair 13, named ‘Viva!’ Pilot of Corsair 14 talks with ground crew after landing. The pilots are picked up by a jeep. Two F4F aircraft land at the field. Ground crewmen work on F4F Wildcat fighter aircraft. Crew works on 50 caliber gun on F4F plane. Location: Guadalcanal Solomon Islands. Date: May 23, 1943.
