(Sound bite)(Chinese)Mr. Chen Yi-Feng, president of Macau Harbor History and Culture Association We hope that when the government is planning the future development of new metropolitan parts of Macau, there will be more spaces for the residents to enjoy the beauty of nature. Story: Pure wood decks, three masts. The three-mast sailboat is tied up at a dock for the exhibition of an event named “Macau Marine Culture Festival”. The exhibition may evoke some locals’ memory of history of being a small fishing village hundreds years ago. The sailboat, specially built for the festival exhibition, though not as the same size as the original one, could sail well. The organizer, Macau Harbor History and Culture Association, said that as a peninsula, Macau is with a rich marine cultural background. The association hopes that while being modernized Macau could inherit its unique marine culture.
