It will take much more than weapons like that to keep the Russians out. Latvia must go nuclear. Why not? Latvia glows in the dark anyway, from years of Soviet radiation.

I had the honour of working with and getting a bit of training alongside Latvian soldiers in 2007 in Lithuania during ex Amber Hope. Total professionals and each one of them was built like bloody universal soldier!

+atlive1 Thanks for the comment.  They use their own weapons, but U.S. Marines and Soldiers also like to familiarize themselves with the weapon systems used by other countries for many different reasons.  Imagine being in a position where you need to pick up another weapon system and not knowing how to use it.  Yes, many work the same way, but a few extra seconds can mean the difference between death or survival!  Always ready, always prepared!

I traveled to Latvia just recently. Have any of my fellow Americans noticed that the locals are slightly mentally retarded?
No offence meant, but the local people there are kind of stupid. In a nice way. They are very friendly.
They complained to me about danger from Russians, while all along being occupied by NATO, going back to 90 s. It is amazing logic: they say we do not want to have Russian tanks here in Latvia, so we allow NATO tanks on our land. I did not say anything, it is like talking to a mentally sick patient. You feel sorry for them and not argue.

The Americans need to take their hands of their pockets and the Latvians need to stop wearing gloves. It's not that cold at the moment!

Seriously, the Latvians need language training if giving instruction to foreign nationals.
