John Potash discusses his book Drugs as Weapons Against Us: The CIA’s Murderous Targeting of SDS, Panthers, Hendrix, Lennon, Cobain, Tupac and other Activists. We talk about the role narcotics trafficking as has played in the rise of the American oligarchy and how this self-anointed elite have weaponized drugs in order to quell meaningful dissent. Later we discuss how intelligence agencies have used musicians and other celebrities to market drugs and the impact narcotics trafficking has had on the global economy.

Cobain was nowhere near clean or even wanting to be clean and sober so you lost me with that wild reaching statement and that actually put a huge stain on your credibility for me.

Wait what? I'm familiar with most of this except the Momma Cass part. I thought she died from a heart attack or something like that. I've never heard that it was inside job by the powers that shouldn't be. What happened?

My theory has always been great guitar players are hard to fake and create. Sad about Mr. Jimi. His late work with Buddy Miles like "Machine Gun" are excellent and certainly didn't make certain people happy. Frank Zappa though is also a great player, and a product of laurel canyon and the military industrial complex. He was also very cynical about the media and politics. Not sure if he was a shill or what.

Thank You Tim & John, information rich &respectful of my time.
I presume you want to interview Catherine Austin Fitts &I'm sure Jay could help convince her if she was reluctant to come on for some reason.
I also think that you Tim are my first choice to get the most out of a brain picking interview of Henrik Palmgren of RedIce, (especially with your both being courteous& broadminded)
