Israeli aircraft attacked a group of militants in the southern Gaza Strip, the Israeli military said on Sunday.
The group was involved in a cross-border attack from Egypt that killed an Israeli worker in June and had ties with global jihadists, according to a military statement.
A Palestinian security official said the aircraft targeted a motorcycle in the southern city of Rafah, killing one person and wounding another.
Another security official in Rafah identified the dead man as Eid Okal Hijazi, 22, a member of the Popular Resistance Committees, a militant group.
Both officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorised to speak to reporters.
