These so-called, strategic analyst that make these comments or self-appointed experts in tech warfare are correct in some parts. However, if you think with common sense or discretion. These super carriers as of this day since WWII have not yet come close to becoming anyone's graveyard.  This rhetoric has been always a lot of noise from the Russians, big mouth politicians, wannabe know it all strategist and journalist that have no idea of what their talking about.  There is no facts in their words. Just words.  These ships are highly protected. Not only there aircraft and sonar/radar abilities, but a weapons system that is beyond your comprehension. There defensive network with an elite crew would blow your mind.  They also have a protective surface screen of high speed cruiser/destroyer force also with a high tech defensive and offensive missile system.  I doubt very much if the enemy whichever they may be would have a very difficult time with any missile more capable than the U.S. could meet there mark even close short of a nuclear blast. I'm not a naval expert by no means, but, I have had experience as a sailor in a war time navy. I've also held a top secret clearance in the operations division that controls communications, combat info center that includes sonar and radar etc… There are things this ship can do without question is classified.  So, rest your beating little heart.  Before this vessel goes down in flames The country that launches the missile will be in question to exist along with the missile it deployed.  This ship does everything short of disappearing completely off the radar,. I'm sure it would make contact with the enemy launch outside it's perimeter of over 2 to 500 mi of a land based launching pad. Or, further.  Give me a break.  It doesn't cost 15 billion dollars because of it's intimidating look.  It the navys "Bruce Lee's"  badass. The boys are back in town.  Just my opinion.

15 Billion $ For New War Machines Is Not What Our Creator Had In Mind, So Do Not Support Those Corrupt Ones Who Have Been Ruining The Earth And Leading In Mass Destruction Of Areas That Do Not Belong To Them !!!

Aircraft carriers were never meant for Russia or former Soviet Union, they were meant for 3rd world countries. A Bully will never pick a fight with a tuff guy, a bully will always pick a fight with a guy who can't fight or defend himself.

Would make an excellent floating prison for corrupt politicians. Especially if they're easy to sink.

It's just my own opinion, but looking back at history, I think the
aircraft carrier of today is comparable to the battleship of the past.
In its day the battleship was considered the most powerful weapon in the
navies of the world. But it took WWII to show the superiority of the
aircraft carrier over the big gun battleship. That is just one reason
why I think FDR knew about the upcoming attack on Pearl Harbor. He made
sure the carriers were at sea when the attack occurred. He left the
soon to be obsolete battleships to take the brunt of the attack. Like
the battleship, the navies of the world will continue to use the
aircraft carrier group as their main show of force on the seas until it
is proven they too are obsolete. I predict one day, and perhaps in the
not too distant future, you will see one of these big ships sent to the
bottom with little or no warning. That could foreshadow the death of US
empire and its hegemony over the world. But, like the opening to US
involvement in WWII, will this just be another controlled script?
