so it's a $360 million boat? or its got $360mil in drugs on it? either the boat is made of solid gold, and diamonds. or he has a brick of coke the size of a semi truck trailer on there… maybe coke has gone up to like $100k a kilo now. but still, that's almost 4 tons of coke. about what a military humvee weighs…

To be worth $362 million at street price (according to the Internet), that boat should have carried at least 14 TONS of cocaine. There is NO WAY this tiny boat could carry that much. It'd simply sink. Ergo, that number is taken from nowhere to impress the public and justify the 46 BILLION DOLLARS the govt is spending on fighting and LOSING the "war on drugs". I'm sorry but I just don't see using a P-3 Orion made for Cold War and costing several hundred million dollars to chase a cheap speed boat as a taxpayer's money well spent.

Why don't they just shoot the back end off and not have to worry about rounding up bails of drugs for miles?

Smugglers gotta go back to the buyer/dealer without the drugs, money or a boat. And no proof to show for it. Have a nice life fellas.

Are them poor pityful US Border Cops strongly terrified & menaced with life prison if they rip a simple T-shirt of smugglers?
Here in my Country it's so. Smugglers are the real Masters of the Seas; poor cops hafta sail praying all the time fer not scratch the Govt. protected criminals.
